About the role

Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for bariatric patients and develop individualized nutrition care plans, including diet therapy, counseling, and specialized nutrition supplementation.

What you’ll do

Collaborate effectively with physiciansCollaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and ancillary services (such as speech pathology and physical therapy) to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
Monitor patient tolerance andMonitor patient tolerance and treatment effectiveness of nutritional regimens, making timely recommendations for therapy adjustments to optimize clinical outcomes
Educate the community onEducate the community on nutrition topics through public speaking engagements, media releases, publications, and other communication channels
Identify and resolve nutritionIdentify and resolve nutrition care-related complaints and problems through proactive research and quality improvement initiatives
