Work Schedule and Shift Premiums Varies based on patient needs | 8:00am to 4:30pm Weekend premium is $2.00/hour Qualifications Registered by the Commission of Dietetic Registration, Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Responsibilities Performs the nutrition care process on patients who are at nutrition risk: Assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring and evaluation Provide nutrition counseling to patients, family and caretakers after assessing current lifestyle.
Provides follow up, as appropriate, to this counseling (inpatient and outpatient) Apply new research, information and concepts to daily work Collaborate with other departments to plan and implement patient care and nutrition education Perform nutrition related presentations to the community and staff, as needed Perform other duties as required or assigned Comply with Hospital policies, accreditation requirements and quality assurance initiatives Is flexible and available when emergency situations require impromptu staffing arrangements Licenses and Certifications Registered Dietitian (required)
