Licensure
✓Upon Hire National Dietitian Certifications Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES), or Certified Nutrition Support Clinician, or Board Certified Specialist in - Oncology Nutrition, Renal Nutrition, Pediatric Nutrition, Sports Dietetics, Gerontological Nutrition, or Nutrition Wound
Certifications
✓Specialist certification in Obesity and Weight management issued by the Commission on Dietetic Registration required or must obtain within 12 months of hire.
Education
✓Master's Degree Required: in a related field of study.
✓Caregivers who earned their RD license before 1/1/2024 when a bachelor's degree was sufficient will be grandfathered.
Qualifications
✓Minimum of 3 years Required: Experience in a related setting as a Registered Dietitian
✓Upon Hire Registered Dietitian and
✓Demonstrated skill in teaching adults of varying competency levels. (Required)
✓Must be able to design, implement, and evaluate instructional modules. (Required)
✓Excellent verbal and written communication skills. (Required)
✓Ability to interact with all a variety of departments and to work independently on numerous projects simultaneously. (Required)
✓Proficient in the use of computers including MS Office applications. (Required)
✓Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to apply age specific principles of growth and development and life stages to meet each patient’s needs. (Required)
