Digital Visual Communication Specialist (8a-5p) IT Enterprise Technology - Johnson City, TN

• The Digital Visual Communications Specialist is responsible for assisting and supporting requested in-person and web-based events within Ballad Health Conference Centers or in the public domain as deemed necessary by Ballad leadership. The specialist will be responsible to install (or assist in installation), configure, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain custom integrated video classrooms, conference rooms, and services within the Ballad Health system. The Specialist will support and maintain all audial/ graphic infrastructure, as well as any necessary equipment in the daily Conference Centers’ schedules throughout the organization and need-based requests. Responsibilities include:
• Supports daily events through remote technologies and or onsite support.
• Provides technical assistance for all custom video conferencing rooms and distant learning opportunities.
• Assists with the design, install and training of new video systems.
• The Specialist will operate, troubleshoot, and maintain custom integrated video classrooms, conference rooms, and services within the Ballad Health system.
• Trains physicians, executive assistants, educators, and other business partners on the functions of the custom control systems to provide them with the skills needed to produce effective learning and meeting environments in all Ballad Health training centers.
• The Specialist will support and maintain all audial/ graphic infrastructure under the care of Conferencing Services. Digital signage, room bar backgrounds, event listings, etc.
• The Specialist will be a liaison with facility/site managers to enhance communication and development through current conferencing and collaboration technologies as well as goal-oriented site upgrades.
• The Specialist will take a pro-active approach to meeting physician and staff communication needs within the organization and will possess administrator status on communication platforms (such as MS Teams) in effort to demystify complex teleconferencing issues system wide.
• The Specialist will provide technical communications support for public relations in line with Marketing and Communication for Executive Leadership needs.
• The Specialist will lead production, shooting, editing, and dissemination of audio, video, and graphic media in support of professional development and continuing education for the Ballad Health team community for MS Teams event capture.
• Demonstrates understanding of corporate policies relating to ordering and receiving equipment/software/products.
• Must be able to support PC/Network and other IS-related equipment with minimal instruction.
• Facilitates technical upgrades, technical support and system enhancement.
• Works with IS, vendors, and suppliers to solve technical problems and interface of system. .
• Assists with projects and other assigned duties upon request.

• Associate degree in Computer Technology, Mass Communications, or a related program required or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in operating complex video communications equipment and coordinate multiple locations and sites simultaneously.
• Effective communication and coordination skills to work with other departments, external customers, and clients is an essential part of this position.
• Experience designing integrated audio and video systems preferred
• Experience with MS Power Point, Word, Cisco Video Collaboration, Cisco Control HuHHub, Cisco GUI for endpoints, WebEx, MS Teams, Zoom, Adobe Creative Suite software preferred Licenses and

• Cisco Communications certificate preferred
• Audio reinforcement certification preferred
• Experience in live production and stage management Work
