How You’ll Make an Impact: Build long lasting relationships in a one-on-one setting a few hours a week. Spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies and activities, like Special Olympics. Support clients in developing their independence and achieving their goals (e.g., budgeting, socializing, shopping, using public transportation, exercise) Be attentive to meet the individual’s needs with dignity and respect.
