The Admissions/Intake Director is responsible for implementing and evaluating the facility's admission procedures. Job Duties/Responsibilities: Evaluate, plan and administer a full-scale admission procedure for all time periods and that is specific to all populations served. Monitor and report on all documentation relating to assessments and admissions regarding inquiry, nonviable dispositions, referral source follow-up patient satisfaction, discharge, etc.
Monitor and report on all documentation relating to the Business Office including insurance verification, financial arrangements, etc. for the patient admission process. Maintain a courteous and respectful demeanor at all times with all LTBHS patients, potential patients, referral sources, and significant others. Establish and maintain a good working relationship with all referral services.
Coordinate internal activities to establish a positive working relationship with each hospital unit/program and LTBHS staff at all levels. Submit daily status reports to the Administrator.
