Director of Ambulatory Surgery Centers Summary Participate in planning, policy development, and priority setting for all BayCare Outpatient Surgery Centers. Ensure that Outpatient Surgical Services and other assigned clinical areas have policies that are consistent with the overall goals of the health system. Ensure compliance in the provision of care to quality and safety standards.
Maintain a competent workforce adhering to regulatory guidelines (financial, employment, AHCA/JCAHO, and established national standards of care). Collaborate with other directors, administrators, medical staff, and departments to provide and maintain optimal services in a cost-effective manner. Promote evidence-based clinical care that exemplifies the pursuit of clinical excellence.
Required Experience 5 years of surgical-related experience 5 years of management experience or 3 years of surgery management experience Education Required: Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a healthcare-related field Preferred: Master's degree in Nursing or a healthcare-related field Credentials Required: Registered Nurse (RN) or Certified Administrator Surgery Center (CASC) Required: Valid Florida Driver's License Preferred: Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) Leadership Competencies Communication: Communicates in a clear, authentic, and transparent manner to ensure messages are received and understood.
