Licensure
✓Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) by the Texas Medical Board.
✓Registered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) required. 4.
Certifications
✓Must have current Healthcare providers BLS obtain ACLS, PALS and NRP within 90 days of hire date and current thereafter.
✓Certification must be in accordance with the curriculum of AHA for Healthcare Provider’s Program.
Education
✓Bachelor’s degree required.
✓Graduate from an accredited Respiratory Care program. 3.
Master’s degree preferred. 2.
Qualifications
✓Five or more years critical care Respiratory Therapy experience, with at least 4 years’ management level experience. 2.
✓Strong knowledge of cardiopulmonary procedures and equipment. 3.
✓Must have the ability to communicate with all levels of healthcare professionals. 4.
✓Must have demonstrated good leadership skills with commitment and adherence to STHS’s Compliance Program, and Code of Conduct, and Service Excellence. 5.
