SUMMARY The Director of Clinical Education – Home Therapies provides enterprise-wide leadership for home therapies education, growth initiatives, clinical outcomes, operational readiness, partnerships, and team members development. The role develops and implements standardized education strategies, processes, and resources aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities
AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and tasks may be assigned. GROWTH & DEVELOPMENT Establishes new Home Therapies education opportunities that contribute to the overall strategic plan, growth portfolio, and clinical performance.
Identifies knowledge gaps and areas of concern and drives changes in improvement plans. Directs Home Therapies Education resources and teams to ensure growth and clinical initiatives are implemented and sustained. Develops and coordinates the launch of Home Therapies education initiatives.
Identifies and implements key actions that foster a culture change around the Home First strategy. Collaborates with teams to achieve monthly, quarterly, and/or annual performance targets aligned with company goals. QUALITY OUTCOMES Develops and executes new systems and processes, including transition timelines and milestones, to advance key performance metrics.
Defines and develops Home Therapies education projects, standardized best practices, and processes aligned with corporate strategy and goals. Uses advanced expertise to provide enterprise-wide guidance, leadership, and resources in support of the company’s clinical goals. Develops, reviews, and maintains standardized patient education materials for Home Therapies to support patient understanding, treatment readiness, and adherence to the plan of care.
Collaborates with supporting departments to ensure assigned programs and initiatives are adopted and implemented. Provides leaders, management teams, team members, and business development with updates regarding revised, newly created, and archived Home Therapies education materials. Drives clinical quality of care through collaboration with Home Operations leadership and Clinical Services to attain defined standards of practice and outcomes.
Creates and delivers presentations on Home Therapies initiatives and project status. OPERATIONAL READINESS Adheres to regulatory standards established by governing agencies. Acts as a liaison to USRC corporate teams to promote enterprise-wide change and to the field for corporate changes and project implementation.
Leads and serves on task forces to provide Home Therapies business perspectives. Provides guidance and leadership during emergency or disaster situations and ensures external agencies receive required updates or status reports. Responds effectively and in a timely manner to inquiries or concerns.
Maintains regular and reliable attendance. PARTNERSHIPS & COLLABORATION Establishes and maintains relationships with partners and monitors project progress to support timely implementation and completion, including Clinical Services education and policy and procedure partners. Supports and promotes physician relations and routinely provides pertinent information.
Leads Home Therapies education initiatives and partners with Home leadership and other support teams to plan, scope, and manage initiatives, including monitoring processes for time and resource efficiency, cost management, and process improvement opportunities. Develops business relationships with industry vendors to maintain current knowledge of industry trends. Represents the organization in interactions with state agencies, accreditation bodies, and professional associations.
Models and promotes the USRC’s mission, values, and AIDET customer service standards. TEAM DEVELOPMENT AND RETENTION Drives and directs the culture of USRC Home Therapies in alignment with USRC’s mission statement. Observes and communicates educational needs of the Home Therapies team and promotes clinical development.
Focuses on overall home business performance with the Home Operations team toward monthly, quarterly, and annual projections based on clinical, financial, and management objectives. Actively promotes high customer service standards and develops effective relationships at all levels of the organization. Fosters a culture of teamwork, respect, and continuous learning.
Promotes team member engagement and retention through recognition, development, and communication of organizational goals. Leads, manages, coaches, and develops a high-performing team by establishing clear expectations, providing timely feedback, evaluating performance, and supporting individual development plans. Builds team capability through effective selection, onboarding, delegation, cross-training, succession planning, and identification of development opportunities that support engagement and retention.

Requirements include: Education Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, nursing preferred, or business-related field required.
Master’s degree preferred. Experience and
Ten (10) or more years of home dialysis experience, or ten (10) or more years of experience in clinical or medical education and demonstrated competencies in effective management. Strong leadership acumen with successful team management and development experience. Demonstrated record of successful fiscal and operating leadership.
Strategic and creative problem-solving and conflict-management skills, including the ability to make critical decisions, translate strategy into action, communicate complex issues, and orchestrate plans to resolve issues and mitigate risk. Demonstrated ability to translate concepts and ideas into concrete strategies and tangible deliverables aligned with mission and strategic goals. Demonstrated leadership skills in communication, customer service, quality assurance, or continuous performance improvement.
Excellent relationship-development, written communication, and verbal communication skills. Advanced computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel; intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Strong organizational and time-management skills, effective customer service, ability to manage multiple priorities, and excellent attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple priorities across multiple regions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and USRC clinical applications (within 90 days of hire).
