This position assists in responding to identified opportunities for improvement in the administration of hospice operations, program growth and financial performance. If you meet these qualifications, we want to meet you! Bachelor's Degree in a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
Ability to become and maintain Hospice and Palliative Care Administrator (CHPCA) certification within 12 months from date of hire. Must be a (RN) Registered Nurse licensed in practicing statePrevious executive management experience preferred. Ability to conduct overnight and frequent travel.
Familiar with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems. Knowledgeable about the Hospice Medicare regulations and Joint Commission standards. Familiarity with state hospice regulations for those states Director, Executive Operations (DEO) will be advisingAbility to travel 75%Responsibilities:As a Director of Executive Operations – Hospice- Registered Nurse you will:Travel to identified sites to assist with Executive OperationsParticipate in the Monthly and Quarterly Executive Director MeetingsAssist in recording minutes for the meeting and follow up of agenda itemsAssist with startup operations, as assignedServing as a business operations expert for all Hospice locationsIn collaboration with the Learning & Development team, assist with education and training for new Executive Directors, including continuing education opportunities for existing Executive DirectorsAssist in reviewing the business operations reports and helping to improve processes for each siteAssist in interviewing potential Executive Directors, Director-Business Operations, and any other operations positions, as requestedGather intelligence on all operational activities at local sites when visiting and bring information back to Leadership team for development of action plansParticipate in plans of correction for internal and external auditsAssist in developing and reviewing policies and protocols, as appropriateContribute to strategic planning for growth and education, both locally and globallyOther duties as assignedOur Investment in YouCaring for others starts with caring for you.
