You’ll need
Licensure
✓Current applicable clinical license as dictated by assigned imaging modalities and organizational requirements.
Certifications
ARRT certification or equivalent imaging credential preferred.
Certification in imaging management, healthcare leadership, or regulatory/accreditation-related discipline preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field; Master’s degree preferred. Additional relevant experience may substitute for lack of education upon Supervisory and HR approval.
Qualifications
✓Eight (8) years of progressively responsible imaging, radiology, or related clinical operations experience in a hospital or health system setting, including five (5) years in a supervisory or management or management role.
✓Knowledge of hospital imaging operations, radiology workflows, diagnostic and interventional imaging modalities, patient access, scheduling, image quality, radiation safety, and current imaging technology.
✓Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical journals, extensive financial reports, and/or legal documents.
✓Ability to respond to sensitive and/or confidential inquiries or complaints from regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
✓Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
✓Ability to work with concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions and to apply mathematical operations to solve or analyze job-related situations.
✓Ability to create financial forecasts and budgets.
✓Ability to identify positive or negative variances from expected outcomes.
✓Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
✓Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
✓Ability to lead teams through staffing challenges, change management, technology upgrades, accreditation readiness, emergency workflow needs, and multidisciplinary service improvement initiatives.
