This role bridges clinical practice and technology to align systems with clinical workflows, enhance direct patient care, and improve population-level health outcomes across DaVita’s healthcare ecosystem.
Additionally, the Director provides direct people leadership, strategic mentorship, and operational oversight to Nurse Informaticists within the IT organization.
- & Responsibilities People Leadership & Team Oversight: Provide direct leadership, coaching, talent development, and oversight to one or more Nurse Informaticists within the IT / CMIO team. Clinical Process Innovation & Change Management: Drive clinical process innovation, continuous improvement initiatives, and enterprise-wide clinical change management strategies across healthcare lanes. CMIO Clinical Consultant & SME: Serve as the designated clinical subject matter expert (SME) and strategic consultant on behalf of the Chief Medical Information Officer (CMIO) across executive forums, cross-functional committees, and working groups. Requirements Elicitation & Solution Translation: Translate overarching clinical objectives into scalable IT solutions. Elicit detailed functional and workflow requirements from clinical staff, the Office of the Chief Medical Officer (OCMO), CMIO, product managers/directors/owners, UX designers, operations, and executive leadership. - Based Solutioning: Leverage clinical domain expertise and structured performance improvement methodologies to facilitate stakeholder sessions that identify operational challenges and architect evidence-based IT solutions. High

This position will be open for a minimum of three days. The Salary Range for the role is $85,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year.
