Collaborate with healthcare consumers, colleagues, community leaders, and other stakeholders to advance nursing practice and healthcare transformation. Lead with professional practice setting profession, healthcare industry, and society, establishing an environment that supports and maintains respect dignity and trust.
Develop and manage one or multiple departmental budget(s), including making budget allocations, approving expenditures, and ensuring expenses are within budget. Make decisions for direct reports in one or multiple departments, and performs people management activities, such as performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, staff planning, and interviews. Practice with the knowledge, skills, and abilities detailed in the AONE nurse executive competencies.
Practice ethically, advocating for compassionate systems of care delivery that preserve and protect patient, family, and coworker dignity, rights, values, beliefs, and autonomy.
