OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) to lead our CPE program within a dynamic hospital setting.

In this role, you will shape the spiritual formation of future chaplains — designing curriculum, supervising student interns, and upholding the highest standards of the ACPE. ResponsibilitiesRecruit, interview, & admit CPE student interns; provide supervision and evaluationDevelop and manage curriculum, handbooks, and educational goals for Level I & II CPEEnsure program delivery in full compliance with ACPE standardsMaintain accurate records, reports, policies, and educational resourcesCollaborate with the Chaplaincy team and serve on institutional committeesDevelop on-call coverage plans in coordination with the Director of Pastoral Care QualificationsMaster's degree ACPE Certified Educator in good standing Board Certified Chaplain (APC, NACC, or Neshama) — preferredChaplaincy experience in a healthcare settingCPE management experienceDemonstrated ability to work with multicultural, diverse staff and patient populationsExcellent English written and verbal communication skills
