We are looking for an experienced Director of Clinical Services to join our team. This is a full-time, Exempt position.
$120,000 - $155,000 annually.

The Director of Clinical Services (DCS) has 24/7 department responsibilities for assisting in program development and coordinating delivery of patient care in accordance with the established standards of care, mental health practice and hospital policy. Assists in the department through interaction with other departments, various professional healthcare disciplines, and external organizations.
Reviews treatment documentation to assure quality and appropriateness of care, compliance with internal and external policies, and proper transfer and assure quality and appropriateness of care, compliance with internal and external policies, and proper transfer and disposition of patients with families and other agencies. Aurora Charter Oak Hospital has been delivering Behavioral Health Treatment Services for over 83 years. We are located on 10 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds in Covina, California. Covina is about 22 miles east of downtown Los Angeles, in the San Gabriel Valley, close to 10, 60 and 210 FWY.

Current California licensed LCSW or LMFT 3-5 years’ experience in a healthcare setting; inpatient setting preferred 1-3 years’ supervisory experience Experience in inpatient setting preferred Skills in case management, time management, and crisis intervention common to acute psychotic as well as to non-violent crises intervention practice Knowledge of acute psychological disorders; advanced principals of abnormal psychology Familiarity with available follow-up resource services Skills in conducting marital and family group therapy Knowledge of The Joint Commission, CMS, All State and Federal regulatory requirements Current BLS for healthcare provider card upon hire Therapeutic Options™ (TOT) to be obtained prior to providing direct patient care without a preceptor
