You’ll need
Education
✓Bachelor's Degree in Biology or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
✓Ability to work effectively with researchers, laboratory staff, vendors, and other university personnel.
Qualifications
✓7-10 years of experience in flow cytometry, cell sorting, or
✓related scientific research operations.
✓Extensive experience in flow cytometry and cell sorting, including operation, maintenance, quality control, troubleshooting, and user training on flow cytometry analyzers and cell sorters, with the ability to provide technical guidance and support to researchers.
✓Experience developing and implementing multicolor flow cytometry assays and standard operating procedures.
✓Experience working directly with principal investigators and research laboratories.
✓Experience coordinating instrument maintenance, repairs, and service.
✓Experience working with scientific vendors and assisting with equipment purchases and service agreements.
✓Ability to work independently, organize multiple projects, and follow through on assignments.
✓Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience evaluating and implementing new scientific technologies. preferred
Experience with clinical, translational, or pharmaceutical research. preferred
Experience with spectral flow cytometry and high-dimensional flow cytometry. preferred
Experience managing a flow cytometry core or shared research facility. preferred
Experience with GMP, CLIA, BSL-2+, or FDA-regulated laboratory environments. preferred
