Education
✓Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Management, Economics, or a related field required.
✓Equivalent combination of education and 5-7 years of progressively responsible healthcare management experience may be considered.
Qualifications
✓Knowledge of physician practice operations, healthcare finance, budgeting, and revenue cycle management.
✓Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements, including HIPAA, Medicare, and federal and state healthcare regulations.
✓Strong leadership, employee development, and change management skills.
✓Excellent analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
✓Ability to establish effective working relationships with physicians, advanced practice providers, administrators, staff, patients, and community partners.
✓Proficiency with healthcare information systems and Microsoft Office applications, including spreadsheet and word-processing software

About the role

The Director of Practice Operations provides strategic and operational leadership for assigned physician practices within Mount Auburn Professional Services (MAPS). Reporting to the Executive Director of MAPS, this position is responsible for ensuring efficient practice operations, financial stewardship, regulatory compliance, and continuous performance improvement.
