Responsibilities UF Health is currently seeking a Director, Perioperative Services. This role Coordinates and evaluates the quality of nursing/patient care, financial stability and service productivity.
The Nursing Director is responsible for the professional development and morale of the service teams and has a close working relationship with the general management team and the medical staff to effectively meet system goals, organizational goals and all pillars relating to the departments he/she oversees. Qualifications Education Graduate degree required; or Bachelor’s degree required. Licensure/Certification/Registration Current Florida nursing license is required.
ACLS, BLS, and CNOR certifications for healthcare providers preferred. Specialty certification required within one year of assuming the position, as appropriate. Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training Maintains or exceeds all specialty educational requirements.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Experience Required Three to five years of previous experience as a Director of Surgical Services.
