Position Highlights The Department of Pediatrics at Children’s Hospital of Michigan and Central Michigan University (CMU) invite applications and nominations for the position of Division Chief of Pediatric Pulmonology. This prestigious role offers a visionary leader the opportunity to advance our clinical, educational, and research missions while guiding an established, comprehensive respiratory team.
The Division of Pediatric Pulmonology features a robust clinical footprint, serving a large outpatient and inpatient pediatric pulmonary care. The division is staffed four board-certified pediatric pulmonologists and one physician assistant (PA). The multidisciplinary team also included four dedicated nurses, a clinical social worker (SW), and a registered dietitian.
The Pulmonary Medicine division has a Cystic Fibrosis Foundation accredited Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Center and has a close collaboration with the adult CF center at Harper University Hospital. Together, we are an active member of the national Cystic Fibrosis Therapeutics Development Network (TDN). Advanced Sleep Program: Features a high-volume, dynamic Sleep Center that includes a multidisciplinary sleep clinic and two dedicated pediatric sleep labs.

Board Certification in Sleep Medicine is preferred but not required. Eligibility for an unrestricted state medical license in Michigan. Academic credentials qualifying for appointment at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor Proven track record of academic accomplishment and leadership experience within a multidisciplinary environment.
