You’ll need
Education
✓A high school diploma/or equivalent or higher education is required.
Qualifications
✓Must be able to work independently.
✓Requires good communication, telephone, and human relation skills to interact with patients, guests, and staff.
✓Strong problem-solving skills are necessary.
✓Must be able to adapt to unpredictable situations and stress.
✓Works varied hours which may include days, evenings, days/evenings, holiday, and weekends, with rotating days off.
✓Must have a valid driver's license and an excellent driving record.
✓During the selection process, you may participate in an OnDemand (pre-recorded) interview that you can complete at your convenience.
✓During the OnDemand interview, a question will appear on your screen, and you will have time to consider each question before responding.
✓You will have the opportunity to re-record your answer to each question - Mayo Clinic will only see the final recording.
✓The complete interview will be reviewed by a Mayo Clinic staff member, and you will be notified of next steps.
Previous hospital or clinical experience is preferred.

About the role
The door attendant is primarily responsible for assisting patients and guests to and from cars, courtesy vans, shuttle busses, or taxis, while establishing and maintaining a pleasant and helpful relationship. This will include offering direction support, mobility assistance, and answering general questions which might be asked by our guests.
