How you’ll contribute A Dosimetrist who excels in this role: Devises a treatment plan by means of computer and/or manual computation that will deliver the prescribed dose to a defined tumor volume in collaboration with the medical physicist. Performs dose calculations and assures complete, accurate, and timely recording of all data on all charts and forms.
Instructs the technical staff in the implementation of the treatment plan. Assists in planning of compensating filters, custom shields, wedges, blocks, and other beam modifying devices in collaboration with the Medical Physicist. Assists in the selection and evaluation of purchase requests involving radioactive materials or radiation producing equipment.

Graduated from accredited program in Radiologic Technology. Licenses/Certifications: Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) (within 6 months); ARRT (T) Radiation Therapy Registry (Preferred) Minimum Work
