Day shift | Full-time How you’ll make an impact in this role Safely transport PACE participants to and from the center, homes, and appointments, keeping to schedule and adjusting as needed Operate and inspect vehicles daily, using wheelchair lifts and safety equipment properly and following all traffic laws Assist participants in and out of the vehicle with care, respect, and attention to safety Communicate promptly about any issues or incidents and support the Transportation Supervisor with daily department needs What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: ⢠Drivers License obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. ⢠Chauffeur preferred. ⢠Drivers License specializing in commercial preferred.
One or more of the following required: ⢠BLS Provider obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. ⢠Heart Saver AED obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
