You’ll need
Licensure
✓Valid state licensure to practice as an X-Ray Technician in the United States.
Certifications
✓Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent).
Additional certifications in specialized imaging techniques (e.g., CT, MRI). preferred
Education
✓Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
Qualifications
✓Strong understanding of radiographic techniques and radiation safety principles.
✓Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
✓The required skills enable the X-Ray Technician to accurately position patients and operate imaging equipment to produce clear diagnostic images while minimizing radiation exposure.
✓Effective communication skills are essential for explaining procedures to patients and collaborating with medical staff to ensure optimal imaging outcomes.
✓Attention to detail and organizational skills are used daily to maintain precise records and adhere to safety protocols.
✓Continuous learning and adaptability allow the technician to stay current with evolving technologies and best practices in radiologic care.
✓Varied Shifts
Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting. preferred
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. preferred
Bilingual abilities to assist a diverse patient population. preferred
Continuing education in radiologic advancements and patient care. preferred
