Licensure
✓Upon hire: Registered in Washington STARS Registry for early childhood personnel.
Certifications
✓Within 30 days of hire: STARs Basic Child Care Center Certificate or equivalent as determined by the program manager.
Education
Coursework/Training: Completion of CDA or at least 12 ECE-related credits as determined by the program manager. preferred
Associate's Degree: AA in ECE or Child Development, or an AA in another field with at least 12 ECE-related credits as determined by the program manager. preferred
Bachelor's Degree: BA in ECE or Child Development, or a BA in another field with at least 12 ECE-related credits as determined by the program manager. preferred
Qualifications
✓Upon hire: Apply for a Portable Background Check through the Washington State DCYF MERIT system prior to the first day of work.
✓2 years of experience working with children ages birth to 5 years.

About the role

Be responsible for the overall care of children in the Intergenerational Learning Center. This includes the planning and implementation of stimulating and challenging indoor and outdoor daily activities.
