You’ll need
Certifications
✓ARDMS RDCS, ARDMS RVT, CCI RCS or CCI RVS
✓Current CPR certification or obtained within 90 days of hire - All clinical personnel in identified job codes are required to maintain cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training through independent study, manikin and knowledge testing.
✓An acceptable CPR training program is the Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider course from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross Professional Rescuer Program with AED.
✓CPR or BLS
✓RDCS or RCS CCI Registry OR RVT or RVS ARDMS registry
Education
✓Knowledge of standards and procedures as they relate to ultrasound normally acquired through graduation from a program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
Qualifications
✓One or more years of clinical ultrasound experience is preferred but not required.
✓Site specific competencies in protocols, equipment, computer systems and applications.

About the role
The Echocardiographer provides quality cardiovascular diagnostic services to neonates, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Uses patient information and age of patients to provide care. Whenever applicable, demonstrates understanding of the needs of specific age groups in terms of their physical and motor development, psychosocial development, and intellectual/language development.
