Single. Day. Aspirus Ironwood Hospital in Ironwood, MI is seeking an ECHOCARDIOGRAPHER-VASCULAR TECHNOLOGIST to join our RADIOLOGY team!
The Echocardiographer/Peripheral Vascular Technologist provides quality cardiovascular diagnostic services to neonates, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Uses patient information and age of patients to provide care. Whenever applicable, demonstrates understanding of the needs of specific age groups in terms of their physical and motor development, psychosocial development, and intellectual/language development.
HOURS: Occasional/as needed. Varied Shifts. Experience/Qualifications Knowledge of standards and procedures as they relate to ultrasound normally acquired through graduation from a program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
One or more years of clinical ultrasound experience is preferred but not required. ARDMS RDCS, ARDMS RVT, CCI RCS or CCI RVS Current CPR certification or obtained within 90 days of hire - All clinical personnel in identified job codes are required to maintain cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training through independent study, manikin and knowledge testing. An acceptable CPR training program is the Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider course from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross Professional Rescuer Program with AED.

Ironwood's service area covers approximately 30,000 people. The hospital has a 4 bed ICU, 3 bed OB unit, and 4 surgical units. The emergency department is staffed 24/7 with ER physicians, with approximately 12,000 visits annually.
