As an Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech), you will play a vital role in supporting patient care within the emergency department or urgent care setting. Working under the supervision of nurses and physicians, you will assist with essential clinical and operational tasks to ensure efficient, high-quality care.
Key
Assist nurses and physicians with patient care activities and procedures Obtain and document vital signs Perform patient care tasks, including thermal applications, non-sterile soaks, and simple dressings and splints Collect stool and urine specimens Transport patients as needed Provide coverage for unit secretary duties when needed Required
Certified CA state issued EMT (EMT, AEMT or Paramedic) or CNA BLS Healthcare Provider Certifications through American Heart Association
