About the role

The Emergency Department (ED) Technician supports timely, safe care for patients of all ages in a rural emergency department. The position may be filled by an Indiana Certified Nurse Aide (CNA), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), or paramedic. The technician assists with bedside care, procedures, monitoring, patient movement, and ED readiness.
