Education Instructor- RN (NICU)

JOB SUMMARY Plans; organizes; directs; controls; and evaluates the educational programs for appropriate nursing unit cluster; including community; orientation; and in-service for professional development. Assists in developing programs to meet the Joint Commission standard requirements for education. Participates in direct nursing care.

JOB REQUIREMENTS Minimum Education Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing unless otherwise approved by the Director Minimum Work Experience 2 years in hospital clinical setting Women and Children (Mother/Baby; Perinatal and Neonatal ICU) Required Licenses/Certifications (Please note American Heart Association Instructor certification identifies the employee as both an Instructor and Provider ).
