Job Summary and Qualifications We are seeking an Electroencephalograph (EEG) Technician. You will join a committed and caring team working to provide the best neurological and/or cardiac care possible. As our new EEG Tech, you will various Neuro-diagnostic procedures and monitoring of our patients.
You will assist physicians by quickly and accurately processing test results and reporting findings. If you have a desire to help grow a program through innovative ideas & process improvement, please apply to join our innovative team. Position Expectations and
You must be able to function independently without direct supervision. You should have knowledge of all EEG equipment. You will perform Standard EEG recordings.
You will perform Sleep EEG recordings, portable recordings, isolation recordings and electro-cerebral inactivity evaluations. You will record charges and assist with coordinating procedures. You will serve as the primary contact for neurologists
High School Diploma Graduate an accredited school of EEG Technology Certification in an EEG Registry preferred 1 year experience in a hospital setting BLS approved by the American Heart Association Must be able to lift and carry 75 pounds HCA Florida Blake Hospital is a 380+ bed hospital located in Bradenton, FL. We have a thirteen acre campus by the Gulf Coast beaches. We are the only state-designated Level II trauma center in Manatee, Sarasota and DeSoto Counties.
We have received verification by the American College of Surgeons. Our services include 24-hour emergency care, open-heart surgery, burn care, cancer care, joint replacement and inpatient rehabilitation. We are a recipient of the American Heart Association’s Gold Fit Friendly Designation.
