✓Current AHA CPR for Healthcare Provider or Professional certification required
Certification of registration by a National Certifying Cardio-Vascular Agency is desirable preferred
Education
Graduate of a two year Cardiovascular program or equivalent combination of training is preferred
Qualifications
✓Must be able to communicate with and perform tests on patients of all ages, pediatric to adult and staff
✓General knowledge of mathematics and accounting principles.
✓Knowledge of medical terminology and the insurance industry.
✓Knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation to type correspondence.
✓Ability to read, understand, and follow oral and written instructions.
✓Ability to speak clearly and concisely.
✓Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees, and the public.
✓Ability to deal courteously with patients, co-workers, and others.
✓Ability to communicate clearly.
✓Knowledge of Patients’ rights.
Experience preferred but will train
Two years experience is preferred
Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 codes is preferred, either through education or experience, but on-the-job training is acceptable.
