✓National board certification in EEG (REEGT) by ABRET-Neurodiagnostic Credentialing and Accreditation Board or registered polysomnographic technologist (RPSGT) by BRPT (Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists) must be achieved within 2-years of hire, an essential requirement to advance
Certifications
✓Three to four years of experience in a patient care function within a hospital or clinical setting, such as polysomnography (PSG), EMT, PCA, CNA, or similar position.
Education
Graduation from high school or equivalent. Associate degree or higher is preferred or graduate of/enrollment in a CAAHEP-accredited neurodiagnostic program. Students enrolled in or graduates of the YNHH School of Clinical Neurophysiology (SOCN) are preferred hires.
