Electronic Technician III (1464)

Provides electronic maintenance to all areas of Memorial Health System as assigned. Insures that work is completed per established policies/procedures, work order specifications and appropriate codes. Embodies the Memorial Health System Performance Excellence Standards of Safety, Courtesy, Quality, and Efficiency that support our mission, vision and values.

· Associate’s Degree in Electronics, Electronics/Electrical Certification/License, or completion of an apprenticeship program or 10 years of experience required. Licensure/Certification/Registry: · Must possess valid Illinois driver’s license and must be deemed as an acceptable driver in accordance with the MHS Fleet Safety Policy (five year MVR will be required).

· Four years experience with electronic equipment repair required. Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: · Demonstrated ability to read, understand and apply technical information from technical manuals and schematics pertaining to the operation, repair and maintenance of equipment/apparatus. · Demonstrated ability to read, understand and apply complex building codes such as NFPA and Joint Commission. · Must apply color discrimination necessary to differentiate wire colors. · Must possess routine hand tools used by an electronic technician. · Knowledge of basic mechanical applications. · Have basic computer knowledge. · Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail for long periods of time Pay Transparency $31.51 - $48.83 Additional compensation in the form(s) of participation in our annual incentive program are dependent on role.
