✓Positions within person patient care: BLS certificate within 30 days of hire or prior to independent practice, whichever comes first
✓Successful completion ACLSand PALS within six months of hire.
Qualifications
✓One year of experience working in a cardiac Cath lab environment
✓Attainment of RCES within 1 year of hire
✓Job Related Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (Competencies):
✓Operation of Cardiac Stimulator Operation of radiofrequency generator Use of CRM (continuous rhythm management) programmers.
✓Ten hour shifts (department open Mon-Fri 0645-1715) On call requirements
✓Must be able to ride the aerial tram and work in two locations between OHSU Marquam Hill and CHH2.
Programming data base and software familiarity with methods of scientific and clinical research preferred
Additional Details preferred
Ability to work in an environment with multidisciplinary teams. preferred

Patients in the Electrophysiology & Cardiac Catheterization Lab are cared for by a multidisciplinary team including Registered Nurses, Registered Radiologic Technologists, Interventional Cardiologists, and Electrophysiologists.
