Emergency Department Tech

THE EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT TECH PROVIDES PERSONAL CARE AND BASIC ACTIVE DAILY LIVING NURSING CARE UNDER THE DIRECTION OF A PROFESSIONAL NURSE IN ACCORDANCE WITH RECOGNIZED TECHNIQUES, STANDARDS, PROCEDURES, AND ADMINISTRATIVE POLICIES OF THE NURSING DIVISION.

High School Diploma or equivalent, required.

Certification as a CNA, CMA, EMT, or EMT-P preferred. CPR and Crisis Management certification required within 6 months of hire. Ability to follow directions and perform duties accurately and to work independently as needed.

Preferred
