Certifications
✓BLS current or within first 90 days of employment.
CNA, EMT, EMT-P, Certified Phlebotomist, MA, Nurse Extern preferred.
Education
✓High School Diploma or GED required. CNA, EMT, EMT-P, Certified Phlebotomist, MA, Nurse Extern preferred. Able to read and write English. Clinical skills to perform basic nursing care. BLS current or within first 90 days of employment.
Qualifications
Prior experience in a hospital setting, preferably emergency services. preferred
About the role
The Emergency Department Technician is responsible for performing basic and advanced Nursing Assistant skills under the direct supervision of an RN/LPN according to established policies, procedures, and guidelines within the department and the Medical Center. Other duties as assigned.
