Maine Medical Center Portland | Emergency Department Part-Time, Day Shift | 2, 12-Hour Shifts| 7:30AM - 8:00PM Nursing/Clinical Support Req #: 92642
The Emergency Department Technician II – MMCP role assists the healthcare team in organizing and implementing basic department activities such as stocking, results retrieval and patient tracking. Under the guidance of the physician/advanced practice practitioner, this role will perform patient care such as vital signs, pulse oximetry, EKG, phlebotomy and other simple procedures. Orients new team members and students and provides educational offerings in unit.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
Completion of a Certified Nursing course required. License/Certifications: Certified Nursing Assistant license required.
Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of an Emergency Department Technician I role. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Basic computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology. The base range is an estimate and does not reflect the full value of our total compensation package. The pay range for this position is $20.68 to $25.10 per hour. Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
