• Night Make an Impact with Baystate Health Baystate Health is seeking an Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech) to join our Emergency Department team at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts . Our Emergency Department team provides care to a diverse adult patient population, working closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, compassionate, high-quality care. Emergency Department Technician Responsibilities Include:
• Patient Care & Monitoring: Provides safe, compassionate, age-appropriate care; obtains and documents vital signs, intake/output, specimens, and other patient measurements; promptly reports changes in condition.
• Clinical Procedures & Testing: Performs phlebotomy, point-of-care testing, specimen collection, dressing changes, and other approved clinical procedures in accordance with BMC policies.
• Treatment & Provider Support: Assists RNs and providers with patient care, examinations, treatments, procedures, and emergency situations within the assigned scope of practice.
• Communication & Documentation: Communicates effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team and accurately documents patient care, observations, treatments, and testing in the EMR.
• Patient Safety & ED Operations: Maintains a safe, clean patient environment and collaborates with the healthcare team to support patient safety, teamwork, and efficient Emergency Department patient flow. Schedule Details Job Type: Part-Time, 24 hours per week

Night, 7pm-7:30am

12-hour shifts Weekend Requirement: Every other Friday and Saturday Night Holiday
