Must possess the ability to read and interpret business or safety manuals, clinical or technical procedures or regulations. Ability to write reports, correspondence and/or manuals. No or limited mathematical skills required. Must possess the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Must possess the ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables and standardized situations.
Age Competencies: This position primarily interacts with all age groups and provides direct patient care. All staff members must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skill necessary to meet the physical, psycho/social, educational, safety, and related needs of the persons in the assigned work area. High School Diploma. Certification required as an EMT or CNA. Phlebotomy certification is required for ED tech II.
Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required. Some experience in a medical setting is preferred. Physical
