You’ll need
Licensure
✓Nurse Aide I, required.
Certifications
✓American Heart Association BLS required, required.
✓Some departments have additional advanced CPR requirements as listed on staff annual education record, required.
Phlebotomy Certification, preferred.
Education
✓High School Diploma or GED, required.
Qualifications
✓Additional Skills (required): Has knowledge and skills necessary to modify care according to patient(s) age. Has the ability to interpret information to identify each patient's requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs.
1 year of Nurse Aide experience. Experience in basic patient care, phlebotomy, EKG in an emergency or outpatient setting highly desirable, preferred.
Additional Skills (preferred): Knowledge of medical terminology.
