The Emergency Manager intern supports the Emergency Manager in planning; coordinating; and executing emergency preparedness; response; recovery; and mitigation activities. This role observes and learns how to ensure the organization’s emergency plans are up-to-date; compliant with relevant regulations; and effectively implemented during crises. This position provides students with hands-on experience in healthcare emergency management while contributing to projects that strengthen organizational preparedness; response; recovery; and resilience capabilities.
