✓Certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) in the state of South Carolina.
✓NREMT certification required.
✓Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or equivalent (e.g., ARC CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider).
✓At least 1 year of EMT experience (preferred but not required).
Education
✓High school diploma or equivalent.

✓Valid driver’s license required.
✓Provide safe and effective ground transport for neonatal and pediatric patients requiring critical care.
✓Lift/carry 50 lbs. unassisted: Infrequent, Lift/lower 50 lbs. from floor to 36”: Infrequent, Lift up to 25 lbs. overhead: Infrequent, Exert up to 50 lbs. of force: Frequent

This will be a primarily nights, every other weekend, tracked schedule at the Medicare base in North Charleston. preferred
As a vital member of the pediatric transport team, you'll participate in all aspects of patient care during assessment, treatment, packaging, and transfer. preferred
Operate and maintain MUSC’s specialized dual-mission Freightliner ambulance, capable of transporting two patient types and accommodating up to eight providers. preferred
