✓Under supervision by licensed personnel the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) will perform a variety of functions in the support and care of patients requiring urgent or emergency care.
✓Basic Life Support (BLS)
Previous 1-2 years Emergency Room Technician/EMT or equivalent experience preferred
Education
✓High school diploma or GED required
Qualifications
✓Proficient communication, critical thinking and prioritization skills required
✓Strong organizational skills
✓Excellent customer service skills
✓Must be able to read, write, and speak effectively in English to perform functions of the position
✓Skills in basic computer operation
Knowledge of medical terminology, abbreviations and hospital procedures preferred
