✓Licensure/Certification  Current Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) license or Paramedic (PMD) license in the State of Florida –renewed every two (2) years.  Maintain current Basic life support certification (BLS).  Emergency Vehicle Operator’s Certificate (EVOC) certification.  Valid Florida
Education
✓Education/Training  High school graduate or equivalent  Successful completion of Emergency Medical Technician program from approved/accredited Department of Transportation (DOT) program.
✓May also be a graduate of an additional paramedic program.
Qualifications
✓One (1) year of ambulance driving experience and/or Fire Department experience.
