HCA Florida Westside Hospital is currently seeking Full-time Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our team in Plantation, FL to cover both at the main ED and the associated, brand new FSED in Plantation with another FSED coming online September 2027! Details: 55,000 annual visits to the ED 2.0 pph ED consists of 43 beds 55 hours physician coverage 20 hours of Advanced Practice Provider coverage EMR: Meditech (upgrade to Expanse 10/2026 with AI dictation) Approximately 5% pediatrics Admission rate approximately 25% DNV Comprehensive stroke faculty with new biplane Interventional cardiac catheterization facility On Call Specialties: General Surgery, Cardiothoracic surgery, Interventional cardiology, Interventional neuroradiology, IR, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Orthopedic surgery, Podiatry, PERT, Urology, Vascular Surgery 24-hour in-house hospitalists 24-hour in-house intensivists No floor code or consult responsibilities Accredited EM Residency into 5th year- 3 Year Emergency Medicine Residency.
Opportunity to participate as clinical faculty for EM residents Qualifications Candidates must be Board Certified or in American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM). Must also have Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
