• HCA Healthcare is seeking full-time Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our team in Southeast Florida at HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital in coastal Fort Pierce and its Freestanding Emergency Department in Vero Beach. Qualified Candidates Must be board certified or board eligible thru the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM) Must have Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Must have completed an Emergency Medicine Residency and Board Certified within 5 years Covers Vero Beach Freestanding Emergency Department 2
• 3 times a month with primary shifts at main Emergency Department Incentives/Benefits 1099 contractor status Hourly Wage Estimate: 315 - 335/hr. Malpractice insurance with tail coverage Visa sponsorship available No state income tax Emergency Department Level II Trauma Center Peds Emergency Department plus one Freestanding Emergency Department 61,000 annual patient visits in Main Emergency Department and 16,000 in Peds Emergency Department 42-bed Emergency Department including 5 fast-track plus 5 monitored beds 3 trauma bays, including 1 pediatric 2.0 pph 70 hours total of physician coverage (main Emergency Department and Peds Emergency Department incl) 60 hours of APP coverage 26% admission rate Comprehensive Stroke facility with biplane Interventional cardiac cath Code ice facility with therapeutic hypothermia capability Several dedicated Emergency Department glide scopes and ultrasound 24-hour in-house Hospitalist and Intensivists No floor code or consult responsibilities Hospital Information 497-bed acute care Medical residency programs in Internal Medicine, General Surgery, and Emergency Medicine Cardiology, general surgery, interventional radiology, mental health and wellness, pediatrics, neonatal ICU (Level II and III), pediatric ICU, neurosurgery, orthopedics, urology, women’s care, weight loss surgery, and more Certified Primary Stroke Center Five
