Emergency Room Nurse, AAMC, Full Time, Night Shift

Three, 12 hour shifts per week including every other weekend, rotating holidays and on call The RN is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame. Renders professional care in accordance with the physician treatment plan and the nursing process. They coordinate and implement patient care specific to the age of the patient population served.

They ensure care meets or exceeds quality standards. Care is provided in an efficient and safe manner. Utilizes nursing skills to determine needs of the patient and their supports to develop, implement and revise the plan of care.

The nurse observes patient progress, records pertinent observations, implements physician and nursing treatment plans and evaluates outcomes.
