Employee and Labor Relations Specialist

Administrative Non-Clinical SupportFull time
✓Requirements
Certifications
SPHR/PHR preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations or related field preferred. Equivalent education and experience in healthcare may be substituted. Master's degree preferred.
Qualifications
✓4+ years of progressive experience in employee relations, labor relations and/or generalist roles.
✓Demonstrated experience managing complex employee/labor relations matters including investigations, corrective action and legal issues.
✓Current knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations pertaining to human resources and labor relations.
✓Highly effective written and verbal communication skills.
✓Ability to maintain confidentiality.
✓Ability to work effectively and under pressure and within time constraints.
✓Ability to maintain productive working relationships with a wide variety and diversity of organizational stakeholders.
✓Ability to organize, plan and prioritize multiple complex tasks while maintaining quality and completing objectives on time.
✓Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a myriad of settings.
✓Must have exceptional critical thinking skills, empathy, good judgment and be a mindful listener.
Union experience strongly preferred.
Healthcare experience strongly preferred.
