EMS Educator

Assess plans, and instructor or coordinates educational programs for the EMS Program. This includes, but is not limited to: planning and teaching initial and ongoing continuing education for ALS, BLS. Coordinates the paramedic student program in conjunction with area colleges.

Maintains files for all education, orientation of students. This position focuses on accomplishing strategic and operational goals and initiatives within the program and organization for the purposes of clinical competence, professional development, quality, and patient safety. This position is in alignment with the Illinois Department of Public Health Emergency Management Systems guidelines for clinical educator/coordinator.
