JOB
Provides high-quality emergency medical care across all patient populations while ensuring safe and efficient ambulance operations. Maintains compliance with clinical protocols, certification requirements, safety standards, accreditation goals, and patient satisfaction benchmarks through accurate documentation, preparedness, professionalism, and teamwork. DUTIES: Delivers patient care interventions according to established protocols and age-specific care requirements, with accurate and timely documentation.
Responds to emergency calls safely and efficiently, achieving response time goals of 10 minutes or less. Operates ambulances safely in all driving conditions while adhering to laws and departmental driving standards. Ensures ambulances are restocked, cleaned, and ready for the next call immediately after patient transport.
Maintains composure and sound judgment during high-stress, critical, or multiple-patient incidents. Completes required shift checklists, logs, and administrative documentation to support operational readiness. Maintains all required certifications, follows safety procedures, and consistently applies universal precautions.
Supports departmental quality initiatives, including Chest Pain Accreditation goals, patient satisfaction targets above 85%, and maintaining a professional appearance and work environment. JOB
